Young Archaeologists Club
Aimed at 8 to 15 year olds, this national club has a quarterly publication, The Young Archaeologist, and a variety of information for the budding enthusiast. Your school can also join the club, while the local Aberdeenshire branch is run by:

Travel back through time with BBC Archaeology. The BBC also has a website providing history resources for schools. From this we have provided a series of links to the best of the interactive material below:
- See You See Me is aligned to the BBC Education Scotland television series. This is a fun and hugely interactive structured resource which is linked to the 5 - 14 guidelines and aimed at P4/5 or 7 -9 year olds
- Fly around a virtual Roman fort (this example is Housesteads on Hadrian's Wall)
- History for Kids is the BBC's website packed with games, stories and information for children.
- Try your hand at the online Scottish History quiz
- Take a virtual tour of sites in Scotland, including some of our Pictish Stones
