Capo Long Barrow

A large, intact long barrow 80 m long, 2.5 m high and 28 m wide at E end, orientated E/W. It is closely similar to the now excavated and destroyed example on Dalladies Farm, c 1 mile to the N.

6 miles SW of Laurencekirk on minor road linking A94 and B966. C 1 mile N of A94 turn W onto track and enter forest. Barrow is in the SW corner of the forest, 500 m from the gate. Signposted.
