Pictish Symbol Stones
Kintore Kirkyard
This stone was found in the churchyard and is unusual in having symbols incised on two faces.
On one face are a crescent and Z-rod above a beast while the opposite face bears a fish above the triple disc and cross bar symbol, which has been interpreted as a vertical view of a ring-handled bronze cauldron.
Town House
The Town House is the home of the North East Scotland Heritage Trust. Inside the kirkyard you will find a symbol stone carved with several inscriptions.
