This cairn, 21 m in diameter and 0.6 m high, has suffered from stone robbing in the past. Two stones on the SW arc may have been part of a kerb.

It is not possible to say if the 3 boulders lying 3 m to the S of the cairn formed part of a stone circle or not.

3 ½ miles W of Buckie. On minor road running SW from Portgordon to the B9104. This cairn is marked as a stone circle on the map and lies at the edge of a field beside a wood in the SW angle of Dallachy/Tynet crossroads, 1 ½ miles SW of Portgordon.
