Easter Aquhorthies
Circle, 19.8 m in diameter, consisting of 11 uprights and a recumbent, 3.8 m long.
Note that the circle stones vary from 1.116 m to 1.77 m in height, are very broad and massive, and are of pinkish porphyry or red jasper whereas the flankers and recumbent are of grey and red granite respectively.
The large slabs set at right angles to the recumbent are similar to the 'reserved' area at Loanhead of Daviot (13). Traces of a low cairn can be seen inside this circle.
