Midmar Kirk

Circle c 17 m in diameter exhibiting the grading of the standing stones, in that the 5 stones decrease in size the farther away on the circumference they are from the recumbent.

The two stones flanking the 4.5 m long recumbent have been matched and shaped.

10 miles NW of Peterculter. Turn N off B9119 3 miles W of Echt, signposted Midmar Kirk, and in ¼ mile park by kirkyard wall. Circle is in kirkyard.
