Substance misuse employment development officers

Employment development officers are part of the substance misuse team. They work with:

  • people who have managed to cease their drug or alcohol misuse
  • people who are stabilised on a substitute prescription, and
  • people who are leaving residential rehabilitating units

They are able to provide direct support to people who are seeking or engaged in vocational training and employment activities.

Access to this service is part of your care plan. Your care manager will assist you.
