Our Aberdeenshire is your Aberdeenshire!

Aberdeenshire Community Planning Partnership (ACPP) have launched their own website.

The website provides a source of information for anyone interested in community planning. This includes the detail of the partners involved, the partnership structure and relevant documents, minutes of meetings and links to websites. It showcases community planning as a way of working and over time will highlight examples of best practice throughout Aberdeenshire.

Here are some examples of what you can find out about:

  • Aberdeenshire Community Plan
  • Citizens' Panel
  • Shell Small Grants Scheme
  • Local Community Planning Groups
  • Community Planning themes - Community Wellbeing, Jobs and the Economy, Lifelong Learning, Sustainable Environment, Developing our Partnership

The ACPP comprises nine full partners: the Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, NHS Grampian, Scottish Enterprise, NESTRANS, Councils for Voluntary Service, Community Councils and Local Rural Partnerships, with other organisations involved in the partnership through our theme forums.

The website is of interest to Aberdeenshire residents as it provides local area information and will detail good practice examples of community planning in action. We also aim to expand our information on how they can get involved in community planning or community groups locally.

The site will not duplicate information that currently exists on other relevant and partners websites but will provide links to other sites, including the council’s.

Please contact our team by phoning (01224) 664316, or email: communityplanning@ouraberdeenshire.org.uk.
