MiDAS Training
MiDAS is the Minibus Drivers Awareness Scheme organised by the Community Transport Asscoiation (CTA), promoting a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. Based on a membership scheme, it has been designed to enhance the driving standards of the minibus driver and to promote the safer operation of minibuses in general.
The training will cover:-
Defensive driving
Legal requirements for minibus drivers
Driver, passenger and child passenger safety
Breakdown, accident and emergency procedures
Where appropriate, Accessible minibus (safety, passenger assistance, wheelchair and passenger restraints, use of passenger lift, etc.)
Cost: Refresher £50.00; Standard £60.00; Accessible £70.00
