The scheme has 16 one bedroom cottages and 1 two bedroom cottage. All the properties are connected to the community alarm system.

Facilities at the scheme include:

  • a communal lounge
  • communal laundry

Regular social activities can be facilitated by the Sheltered Housing Officer which includes:

  • coffee morning
  • bingo
  • social evenings
  • exercise classes
  • arts and crafts
  • soup and sweets

Relatives or friends, who don't live locally, are welcome to use the guest bedrooms at Don House, Ury House or Kinkell House sheltered housing schemes. All are close by.

Inverurie is just north of Aberdeen. Local facilities include a good range of shops, supermarkets, a Post Office, library, schools and churches.
