Garioch Area

The Garioch Ranger is based at the Bennachie Centre and covers a diverse area at the heart of Aberdeenshire including the iconic Mither Tap and Bennachie range where there is a variety of routes to meet your needs from short, low level walks, to the long distance Gordon Way path.

Examples of other areas within Garioch, rich in biodiversity, where many species of flora and fauna can be found, include sites such as Arnhall Moss Local Nature Reserve in Westhill and Insch Meadows.

The Garioch area is rich in social and natural history with many places of interest for people to visit and explore.
