- Information Services provide an Enquiry Service for all your information needs
- Local Studies has a large collection of local material including books, maps, newspapers and family history resources.
- Information from an extensive collection of items for reference, including encyclopaedias, dictionaries, online reference databases, poetry, art, literature, science, sport and others
- Scottish Parliament information - including Bills, Acts, Scottish Statutory Instruments, committee reports, official reports, all provided as part of the Scottish Parliament's Partner Library Network
- European information - provided as part of the European Public Information Centre network
- Advice Leaflets - includes information on consumer rights, benefits, health, housing etc.
- Careers Information Points are located in all libraries
