Licensing - Equalities
Aberdeenshire Licensing Boards recognise the following equality characteristics which are protected under the Equality Act 2010 – race (includes Gypsy Travellers), sexual orientation, sex (gender), disability, gender reassignment, age, religion or belief, pregnancy and maternity, and marriage and civil partnership.
The Boards aim to provide excellent services for all. The Boards are committed to building equalities into every part of the licensing process. Like a stick of rock, equalities must be a part of everything we do.
The Boards approved their first Equality Policy and Action plan on 30th April 2013. Multi-Equality Policy
In conjunction with Aberdeenshire Council, the Aberdeenshire Equalities Mainstreaming Report and Equality outcomes were approved by the Board on 23rd May 2013. The full text of that report can be accessed here
