Welcome to Aberdeenshire Collections & Education
We provide
Adult Learning
- We support Adult Literacy Groups and a variety of classes, using artefacts as a stimulus for discussion, writing and research
- We provide displays in libraries/community centres, backed up with Family Learning Activities
- We help Independent museums and Heritage Societies to interpret their collections and bring them to a wider public
- We take collections into care homes and sheltered housing, for reminiscence sessions
- We actively support University of the Third Age local initiatives
- Our Education Resource room is also available for talks, meetings and research projects
