Parent Council Conference

Aberdeenshire Council will be holding its second annual parent council conference later this month.

The conference is being held on Saturday, October 31, at Meldrum Academy.

The event will include presentations from Bruce Robertson, director of Education, Learning and Leisure for Aberdeenshire Council; Keith Brown, Minister for Schools and Skills, and various other council members.

Attendees can choose to participate in a number of workshops such as Active Schools – How We Can Help, Save Our Energy, Around Our Coast, Glow and many more.

Also included will be displays from a range of council services and a school spotlight on how Portlethen Academy is sharing school learning experiences in partnership with the Parent Council.

The event is free and offers complementary refreshments and lunch.
