Aberdeenshire Core Paths Plan Consultation
The first informal consultative draft of the Aberdeenshire Core Paths Plan was launched at the Aberdeenshire Local Outdoor Access Forum's Annual Gathering on 9 June 2008 at Thainstone Mart.

Walking and Cycling Strategy
The Council is currently developing a Walking and Cycling Strategy for Aberdeenshire which will contain specific policies and actions to increase walking and cycling across the region. Initially, the main purpose and proposed objectives have been outlined in a Summary Strategy and the Council are seeking the publics views on this and current levels of walking and cycling provision throughout Aberdeenshire.
