Every person fishing MUST be in possession of a current permit issued on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council, and any person fishing without a permit woll be liable to prosecution. Permits will not be issued at the river bank and must be obtained before fishing commences |

Anglers must do everything possible to prevent illegal fishing or poaching |

Anglers must keep to the fishing paths and must not be accompanied by their dogs |

Anglers must allow any Bailiff, River Watcher, Warden or other person having authority from Aberdeenshire Council to inspect their fishing permit, fishing tackle and any fish in their possession |

Anglers may take only brown trout OVER TWENTY-FIVE CENTIMETRES IN LENGTH. Any fish caught under this length must be returned alive to the water. Any angler found in possession of any fish less than twenty- five centimetres may be liable to prosecution and the immediate withdrawal of permit |

Ground baiting is STRICTLY PROHIBITED |

Fishing with lines over 6 lbs/2.72 kilos breaking strain strictly prohibited |

Fishing to be with artificial fly only. No 'natural' baits permitted |

In the interests of conservation anglers are requested to report brown trout caught by completing a catch return form and placing it in the box provided by the riverside |

Anglers must not damage or interfere with the banks of the rivers or with any property belonging to the Council or any other Party on the banks or in the river. No fires to be lit on the river bank or in or near fishing huts |

At all times anglers will fish THROUGH the pools and must not continue to occupy these when following anglers approach. Salmon anglers have priority |

This permit is valid only for the person named overleaf and is not transferable |

Charges will be as determined by Aberdeenshire Council from time to time |

The Council reserves the right to amend or make additions to the conditions |

All foul-hooked fish must be returned to the water |
| 18 |
Fishing for brown trout is permitted from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset |

Any person infringing any of these conditions or who may be convicted of any illegal fishing or any offence under the Acts relative to trout and salmon fishing, will have their permit confiscated and future sales of permits to said person will be reviewed |

No angles will fish with more than one rod concurrently, nor use a set line |

No wading at Alford beyond one-third of river width |
