The new Building Standards system came into force in Scotland on 1st May 2005. Below are a selection of forms applicable to applications made on or after 1 May 2005 and applications made before 1 May 2005 and some useful guidance.

Your completed form should be submitted to the relevant Building Standards Office, please refer to our contact details for your nearest office.

Applications Made on or After 1 May 2005

These forms relate to warrant applications submitted on or after 1st May 2005:

These forms/certificates relate to warrant applications submitted, or where work has been undertaken to a property, prior to 1st May 2005:
