Don & Ury Study
Alongside the Capacity Study a Draft Study for green infrastructure in the Don & Ury area has been produced
The draft Rivers Don & Ury Study seeks to identify the area of land associated with river corridors that contribute to the environmental capacity needs of the adjacent settlements e.g. water drainage and storage, nature conservation, landscape amenity, environmental education, sports uses, informal recreation, local food and wood production.
The draft Don & Ury Study also looks at the potential for landscape improvements, pedestrian and cycleway linkages between the settlements along the river corridors as potential future projects within the Don-Ury river corridors". The draft Study was funded as part of the European Union Interreg 3C Sustaining Small Expanding Towns project.
