Imagine Laurencekirk - Capacity Study

On 28th October 2008 the Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee agreed the Laurencekirk Capacity Study for use as information for the next Local Development Plan.

Background and Consultation Process

The Laurencekirk Capacity Study identifies the potential for long term growth. Communities’ views were sought earlier in the year on the potential opportunities and constraints within the settlement and local area.

A public display was on show at the Community Centre, Laurencekirk, from Monday 25 February 2008 until Friday 7 March 2008.

Public meetings were held on 25 February and 4 March 2008 at 7:30 pm in the Community Centre, Laurencekirk, at which a presentation was given and a workshop took place.
