This site is shown as a project Area in the Finalised Aberdeenshire Local Plan, suitable for a cemetery, car parking, strategic landscaping and a maximum of 15 houses. This development brief has been completed with the input of the Community Council and the developer. It was approved by Formartine Area Committee on 28 October 2003.
