Uryside Development Framework

This is the proposed Development Framework for the Uryside Area of Inverurie, which has been developed with the input of the community Council and other local business and recreational groups based in the Inverurie Area.

The area is allocated in the Aberdeenshire Local Plan as suitable for residential development, appropriate employment development, a primary school, northern link road, strategic landscaping, Inverurie riverside park and access requirements throughout the area. The draft framework can be viewed by clicking on the links at the base of this page.

The draft was brought before the Garioch Area Committee for consideration on the 12 September 2006. The Garioch Area Committee agreed the format of public consultation. A questionnaire has been prepared which focuses on the main elements of the draft framework.

The development framework and questionnaire responses were considered by Garioch Area Committee on the 28th of November 2006. The Uryside Development Framework was adopted at this meeting. the Framework now forms Supplementary Planning Guidance to the Development Plan.
