Local Development Plan

Local Development PlanAberdeenshire Council are reviewing the current Local Plan and replacing it with what will be called a 'Local Development Plan'. The Local Development Plan will provide the local interpretation of national planning guidance, from the Scottish Government, and the Structure Plan for Aberdeen City and Shire.

The Main Issues Report was published for comment in May 2009. Over 27,000 comments were received on the objectives, main issues, policies and sites.

 

The draft statements on settlements and sites are available for the following areas;

Formartine

Banff & Buchan

Buchan
