Fares and Ticketing

Fares on commercially operated bus services are set by the bus operator/s, whilst the Council sets fares on the Council-supported Aberdeenshire Local bus network. Aberdeenshire Local bus fares are set broadly in line with commercial bus fares.

The Council promotes a number of fares and ticketing initiatives such as discounted fares for school pupils, and multi-operator through-ticketing.
