A to Z Index:

Interchange and Connect Points

How does through-ticketing work?

The scheme enables passengers to pay fares for onward bus journeys in a single transaction. For example, passengers travelling on local Mintlaw bus services may purchase an Aberdeenshire Connect ticket from their driver which entitles them to onward travel onto a mainline bus service to Aberdeen, Fraserburgh or Peterhead; changing at Mintlaw roundabout.

A 10% fares discount is provided compared to the total cost of the individual journeys. Single and return fares are available.

Where do I change buses?

You must change buses at the dedicatedInterchange point. The Aberdeenshire Connect ticket entitles you to onward travel on the next available bus to your chosen destination.
