We organise a range of events designed for you to learn more about your environment, the unique Aberdeenshire countryside and to have fun at the same time.

All events are free of charge, unless otherwise stated.

Morrone Hill, BraemarThe Ranger Service is also available to adult and children's groups who wish to learn more about their environment. There is no charge for this service.

Fraserburgh Seashore LeafletFraserburgh Seashore Centre

Fraserburgh Seashore Centre is open to everyone, and its location is ideally suited to visitors wishing to make use of Fraserburgh Bay or Waters of Philorth. The Centre can be used as a 'springboard' to lead the visitor out on to the coast to take part in a range of activities including:

Dune Watch

Dune Watch - tackling illegal off-roading on beaches and dune systems in north Aberdeenshire.

The area's dune systems, which are recognised as being of international importance, were in some cases being permanently damaged through the frequent use of off-road vehicles such as quad and scrambler bikes.

The Scottish Outdoor Access Code explains the responsibilities of the public and of land managers in enabling all to benefit from access without harm to their own enjoyment or to the livelihoods of those who live and work on the land.
