Disability Sport

Activities:
John and Claire work closely with a voluntary group called Aberdeenshire Disability Sport to deliver multisport sessions for children and adults across Aberdeenshire. They also organise events, competitions and holiday programmes. They offer training in various NGB add on modules for working with people with a disability. They link closely to Aberdeen City Council and Scottish Disability Sport. They have a stock of specialist equipment for various activities and they advise on disability sport generally. 
Badminton

Activities:
Joan oversees most of the junior badminton going on in Aberdeenshire at participation and squad level. She organises coach education, mentors coaches and organises festivals and leagues. She supports club development and works closely with the National Governing Body.
Athletics

Activities:
Dawn organises the delivery of indoor/sportshall athletics through clusters of primary schools leading up to one-day festivals between schools. She also organises coach education for parents, volunteers and existing coaches. She runs Startrack Athletics in the summer holidays and over the winter term. She can help schools make use of the Shine awards.
Gymnastics

Activities:
Janine organises after school gymnastics classes in Insch, Kemnay, Kintore, Meldrum, Monymusk and Inverurie as well as coaching in schools. She trains teachers to use her Rainbow Awards scheme, which has an accompanying video, and all schools have a copy. She helps the NGB set up coach education courses and keeps in touch with all the local clubs.
John organises safety workshops in schools for garden trampolines (he takes a garden trampoline with him). He also does coaching for various groups and advises generally on trampoline matters. He is also a tutor for coach education courses and holds these regularly.
Janine and John organise the annual gym tramp festival as well as numerous holiday activities.

Activities:
Kevin is actually an employee of Scottish Hockey but Aberdeenshire contributes towards his post and so do Aberdeen City and Moray Councils. He works closely with the national and local governing bodies to run squads, leagues, competitions. He organises some coaching in schools and in clubs. He runs a coach education programme.
Golf

Activities:
Audra is actually employed and line managed by clubgolf (a national organisation) she works in the City, Shire and Moray to persuade clubs and schools to sign up to the club golf programme which aims to iintroduce golf to all 9 year olds. She organises coach education and volunteer support.
Swimming

Activities:
Gary coaches the South Aberdeenshire Squad, which trains at Westhill Pool but draws on swimmers from Stonehaven, Aboyne, Westhill and Banchory. He works closely with these clubs in matters of club development.
Netball

Jill works closely with the local and national NGB.
