Aberdeenshire Youth Triathlon Squad
Are you aged 10-16 years? Do you enjoy cycling, running or swimming? If so come and try out a triathlon training session! You must be able to swim 200m (8 lengths) continuously with your face in the water doing front crawl.
Training sessions are spread around Aberdeenshire to provide access to as many keen individuals as possible! All sessions are coached by qualified instructors. Consent Form must be filled out in full and handed to the Coach before your session commences.

*At Knockburn Loch there is the possibility to hire a mountain bike for the session please call in advance 01330 826047
*There is great cycling and running facilities at Knockburn but the swim session will be at the Banchory Leisure Centre from 13.00-14.00 (transport must be provided by parent/guardian)

What to Bring:
HELMET: NO HELMET = NO CYLCLING!
Mountain bike – in good working order
Appropriate Running trainers
Warm Clothing, Change of clothing, Gloves
Snack and Juice
Changing facilities with hot showers are provided
Training Diary/notebook and Pen

Saturday 8th November – Knockburn Loch and Banchory Swimming Pool
Knockburn Loch 10.00-12.00
Banchory swimming Pool 13.00-14.00
Please note that you will have to provide transport from Knockburn Loch to Banchory Swimming Pool, Pick up from Knockburn Loch at 12.00 to be at the Banchory Pool for 13.00.
10.00 - 11.00:
- 14 years + Forest Track on Mountain Bike
- 10-13 years- bike skills and riding round cross country track possibly forest track.
11.15 - 12.00: Running session at Knockburn
13.00 - 14.00: Swim session Banchory Pool
What to bring:
