Here you can access information on where the burial ground records for Aberdeenshire are kept. Some of these records are stored locally and are an invaluble resource for family historians. Aberdeenshire Registrars and Landscape Services Staff are happy to advise and help you with your research. The search fee is £10 for up to an hour and it is advisable to arrange an appointment.

Banff and Buchan records are held by the Registrars at Banff, Fraserburgh, Turriff and Ellon.

Buchan records are held by the Registrars at Maud and Peterhead.

Formartine records are held by the Registrar at Turriff and Landscape Services, Inverurie.

Garioch records are held by Landscape Services, Inverurie.

Kinardine and Mearns records are held by the Registrars at Stonehaven and Banchory.

Marr records are held by the Aboyne and Banchory Registrars and Landscape Services, Inverurie.
