In-Service Closure Dates for 2009/10

The following dates have been set as closure days for Session 2009/10:

  • Monday 17th August 2009
  • Monday 16th November 2009
  • Tuesday 17th November 2009
  • Tuesday 16th February 2010
  • Wednesday 17th February 2010
  • Tuesday 4th May 2010

On 7 January 2009, the Cabinet Secretary for Education & Lifelong Learning announced that, in line with a recommendation from the Curriculum for Excellence Management Board, she would provide for one extra in-service day in the current school year and one in each of the next two school years, focused on the implementation of Curriculum for Excellence.

Session 2010/2011 to 2014/15

At a recent Education, Learning & Leisure Committee the holiday and in-service dates for 2010/11 to 2014/15 (inclusive) were agreed. These are contained in the document below.
