Medically Prescribed and Modified Diets

Children who require Medically Prescribed or Modified Diets, with parental/guardian assistance, should be identified during the admission process. Procedures are set in motion to accommodate these diets by parent/guardian completing Admission Form D available from the school administration office or by dowloading pages 17 to 21 this Admissions Procedures (pdf 259 kb) document for Primary and Secondary Schools.

The procedure will also cater for those children with an existing need or children who develop a need throughout their school years. The school should be advised of any change in a child’s dietary requirements that may occur at any time and Admission Form D updated appropriately.

Special or Ethnic Diets

With advance notification pupils who have specific dietary/ethnic preferences or requirements can have appropriate meals provided. We are happy to work with parents to ensure food for special diets is available.
