We have issued guidelines for establishments on the proper management of technical equipment and facilities to ensure that:

• it is properly stored and maintained
• appropriate checks are carried out and that it is fit for purpose
• appropriate tests are carried out on PPE
• technical equipment is accessible only to those qualified to use it
