Housing Land Audit 2007: Consultative Draft
Each year Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils carry out an audit to determine the extent and status of the housing land supply in the area. We now have a draft Housing Land Audit 2007 and invite you to comment on it as part of an extensive consultation process, which involves a range of stakeholders including housebuilders and a number of statutory agencies.
The consultation period for the draft Housing Land Audit 2007 ends on Friday 11th May 2007. Please ensure that all comments you wish to make are received by us by that date. Responses to the consultation will be used to make amendments to the draft audit and a final version will be published later this year.
As agreed with stakeholders, the format of the audit report has been changed this year to allow for the inclusion of additional information and to make the document easier to use. Annual completion rates for each site are now included and, for Aberdeenshire, details of the status of sites and the Local Plan reference code.
This change to the report represents the first step towards making the Housing Land Audit available online in an interactive format (including mapping) which will eventually dispense with the need for the Housing Schedules document. However, for the moment, maps will continue to be available in the Housing Schedules along with summaries of completion rates and some additional site information, particularly the detail of planning applications and approvals.
The consultation documents consist of the following:
- Draft Housing Land Audit 2007
- Draft Housing Schedules 2007
- Small Sites 2007
- Draft Housing Schedules 2007 - Site Maps
