Business Gateway International Aberdeen City and Shire comprises four local members, Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and Scottish Enterprise Grampian and two associate national members, Scottish Development International and the Scottish Energy Team.
Formed to provide co-ordinated export support for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire companies, Business Gateway International draws on the resources and expertise of all its members and can be used as a single entry point to any of the extensive export support services provided by these organisations.
These services are customer driven through a regular Export survey of the business plans of 500 existing and 300 potential exporters which outlines their priority markets for future development, as well as the barriers that they face and the types of assistance that they require to overcome these.
Co-ordinated services delivered through Business Gateway International are wide-ranging, and include strategic development programmes, export information and training services. The services are open to any business operating in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
