Enterprise Act 2002

The Enterprise Act 2002 makes significant changes to competition law, to the enforcement of consumer regulations, to insolvency law and to the structure, procedures and activities of the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).

The changes to the structure of the OFT took place on 1 April 2003. The rest of the competition and consumer provisions came into force in June 2003.
