Pass Plus
Pass Plus
Aberdeenshire Council currently operates a grant system to subsidise the Driving Standards Agency’s Pass Plus scheme. The Council will provide a grant of £45 to any Aberdeenshire resident who has passed their driving test in the past 12 months and who successfully completes the Pass Plus course.
As of 12 August 2007, the Scottish Executive's additional £75 grant to 17-25 year-olds is no longer available. Aberdeenshire Council's £45 subsidy is, however, still available.
Applicants who hold a voucher for the Scottish Executive grant but have not yet claimed their £75 can still claim this until December 2007.
For an application form for an Aberdeenshire Council Pass Plus grant, please phone Lauren on 01224 664799.
This application form must be returned to Aberdeenshire Council BEFORE commencing the Pass Plus course. The grant will be paid directly into your bank account after you submit a photocopy of your Pass Plus certificate.
