North Aberdeenshire borders the Whisky Trail, so why not make the most of your trip to the north-east by sampling the best of Speyside and Royal Deeside?

There are four distilleries with Visitor Centres in Aberdeenshire. These are Fettercairn, Glen Dronach, Glen Garioch and Royal Lochnagar. In addition, January 2009 will see the opening of the first organic Whisky distillery by Euan Shand, owner of Single Malts Direct, 36 Gordon Street, Huntly.

So, what better way to enjoy the spirit of Scotland than by taking the opportunity to see it born on site?
