Out of hours emergency assistance
If you need urgent registration assistance out of hours phone 01467 533 040. This service is only available for genuine emergencies.
Registration and document signing appointments
Some registration services are available by confidential telephone appointment with a registrar. For marriage and civil partnership documents, signing appointments take place at local registration offices.
To book an appointment, contact the Registrars team.
Telephone appointments are available for:
- Birth, death and marriage registrations
- Family history research
- Ceremonial services, including: marriage, civil partnership, renewal of vows, baby naming and citizenship ceremonies
Document signing appointments are available in our local registration offices for:
- Presenting original documents for a forthcoming marriage or civil partnership
- Collecting marriage or civil partnership schedules
