COVID-19 Strategic Framework Business Fund

If a business is required to close by law or to significantly change its operations due to COVID-19 restrictions from 2 November 2020, it may be eligible for this grant funding. Whether a business is eligible will depend on where its premises are located and what level of restrictions are in place at any point in time.

11th of January announcement of top up grant for hospitality, retail and leisure

If you have already applied for the Strategic Framework Fund and are eligible for the top up grant, we will automatically add this new grant to your next payment. To receive the top up grant you must apply for the Strategic Framework Fund. If you are not eligible for the Strategic Framework Fund you are not eligible for the top up grant. Please note that Aberdeenshire Council does not have discretion to change the eligibility criteria set out for this scheme. View more information about the top up grants and the differing grant amounts.

If we already have your Strategic Fund application or receive it by Friday, 15th January 2021, we will endeavour to make the top-up payment on 25th January 2021.

Due to the volume of applications received, any incomplete or incorrect applications may result in a delay to payment. If you do not receive your payment on 25th January 2021 please be assured that payments will be made weekly and your grant will be backdated. This also applies to applications received after 15th January 2021.

  • £1,400 for premises which have a rateable value of up to and including £51,000
  • £2,100 for premises which have a rateable value of £51,001 or above
