We encourage and promote equality, active citizenship and participation, which aims to improve the quality of lives and communities.

We help people of all ages build essential skills for everyday life and work. These include:

  • Literacies - supporting learning in:
    • Reading
    • Writing
    • Numeracy
    • Digital skills (ICT)
    • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
    • Personal development

    • Starting work, training, or further education

We also offer:

  • Employability support for young people and adults to overcome barriers and build skills for work
  • Family learning - helping parents and children learn together, and helping parents develop skills to better understand how to support their children

Voice

We support individuals and groups to express their views and influence decisions that affect them. We offer:

  • Support to develop political literacy and community awareness
