Eligibility

The Aberdeenshire Community Resilience Fund is for community or resilience groups seeking funding to support community resilience in connection with:

  • Vulnerability - protecting the welfare of vulnerable community members through enhancing their resilience and improving community participation and effectiveness
  • Resilience in Emergency Events - to enhance community facilities, services and communication specifically to support the local response in the event of a significant emergency event

If the group applying is not constituted, they should affiliate with an existing constituted group, for example, a community council.

The fund is not designed to support other community groups who may be affected because they cannot raise funds or income as a result of COVID-19.
