Request free period products
We would like to know more about the type of products you would like to access, where you would like to access these, and how. To help us evolve and improve our program please take part in the Free Period Product Access Survey. This will take just 5-10 minutes to complete and will shape what is provided in the future.
With funding from the Scottish Government we provide access to free sanitary products.
The home delivery service is for anyone who menstruates and lives in Aberdeenshire, and who can't afford or access period products at this time. This is a free service but you must provide an Aberdeenshire Council postcode for delivery.
The system enables you to complete an order form for sanitary products. The products that are available are disposable sanitary pads, tampons and reusable pads. Individuals will receive a two month supply of disposable products or one pack of reusable pads. These products will be sent directly to the address you have specified on the order form.
We aim to get your products delivered to you as quickly as possible, please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery. However, we are aware due to current demand there is a delay on deliveries. Please bear with us while we work to resolve this.
To access products in the community, the newly launched Pick Up My Period app provides nearby locations where you can collect free products. All premises listed are accessible to the public and include community centres, libraries, and sports and leisure centres.
The app also contains educational resources on menstrual health, and can be used on the go to find products in the other areas across Scotland.
You can download PickUpMyPeriod on Apple or Android devices using the links below:
If you don’t have access to the internet you can contact 03456 08 12 08 to request sanitary products.
