Financial hardship during coronavirus
We appreciate that a number of residents will find themselves in a very different financial position than they may be used to. We will respond to individual cases regarding financial hardship on a case by case basis.
Help with paying your bills
If you are struggling to pay any of the debts owed to Aberdeenshire Council (like Council Tax) please speak to us on 03456 08 12 01. We will make arrangements for a payment plan, based on what you can afford.
Universal Credit is a payment to help with your living costs, including housing costs. You may be able to get it if you’re on a low income or out of work.

Council Tax Reduction may be claimed in addition to your Universal Credit to help reduce your Council Tax bill.
