European Union Referendum 2016
A Referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union was held on Thursday, 23rd June 2016. Voters were asked to vote on the following question:
“Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?”
The votes cast in the Aberdeenshire Council area were counted overnight at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
