Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 18th September 2019. It was last reviewed on 23rd February 2022.
This website was last tested on 9th November 2021.
Our web team and IT performed automated and manual accessibility tests.
We tested:
- Council's main website: www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk
- Online forms: online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk
- Website publications: publications.aberdeenshire.gov.uk
We used Silktide, our quality assurance tool, for automated tests on the main website and website publications. This covered all pages on both platforms.
We used Axe DevTools and WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool when testing all our forms. We also tested some of them using Silktide.
In addition, we performed manual tests on a sample. The sample covered a variety of pages and forms. We made sure all types of page templates, different user journeys and the most popular tasks were represented.
