Report invasive plants
If you have seen invasive non-native plants on land owned or managed by the council, you can report these to us. Please note we can only take action on land that we are responsible for.
If the plants are on land we don’t manage, we will try to pass your report on to other organisations that deal with plant control. We also share records of invasive plants with the North East Scotland Biological Records Centre (NESBReC).
You can report the following plants:
- Giant Hogweed
- Himalayan Balsam
- Japanese Knotweed
- American Skunk Cabbage
