Rent Deposit Guarantee Scheme
We run a Rent Deposit Guarantee Scheme to help individuals, couples or families renting in the private sector.
The scheme aims to help people who cannot provide a deposit and where one of the following criteria applies:
- aged 16 years and over and may be homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and have received homelessness advice or assistance
- assessed as living in below tolerable standard accommodation
- assessed as having a high medical priority
- have not accrued a debt through the scheme in the past
