Energy Performance Certificates

Energy Performance Certificates

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a document that calculates the energy performance of a home.

The EPC details energy use, carbon dioxide emissions and fuel costs of the home. It is measured on a scale from A to G, with A being the most efficient and G the least efficient. It is the Energy Efficiency (EE) rating that’ll be used to make sure all our houses and flats meet the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH and EESSH2) by 2032.

Further EPC advice and guidance is available from the Energy Savings Trust website.
