Parking

If you have a driveway, you should use it to help reduce congestion.

If you do not have a driveway, you should think about other road users when parking your vehicle on the street. On-street parking is subject to the normal road traffic regulations. If you park your vehicle illegally, or cause an obstruction, you may be prosecuted by the police. If you wish to build a driveway at your home you must get our permission first.

Many housing developments were built when vehicle ownership levels were less than they are today. At certain times of the day it may not be possible to park outside your home, or close by. There are no designated parking spaces on streets unless a space has been marked for the use of disabled people.

Any vehicle parked in a driveway, or on the public road, must be taxed and roadworthy. You should not store a vehicle on our land without our prior permission.

Any tenant with a vehicle causing a nuisance or annoyance to neighbours will be asked to remove it.
