Oil and gas safety checks

We carry out annual oil and gas services as well as 5-yearly electrical checks. While the electrical check is carried out, you will be without electricity for approximately 2 hours.

We are required to do this by law. We need you to allow us reasonable access to your home so that we can carry out these essential safety checks.

If our Servicing and Maintenance Contractor FES/OCS fail to access to your property on two attempts you will be recharged £106 for their engineers wasted visits. So please make sure access is provided, or you make contact to arrange a suitable appointment.

If you install a space or water heating system with written permission, we will maintain and service it. When you end your tenancy the system becomes our property. You may be eligible for compensation under the Compensation for Improvement Act.

Gas servicing

If you smell gas or if you have concerns about the safety of your appliances, you should call the gas emergency service provider on 0800 111 999, and switch off appliances until the gas emergency supplier or a registered gas engineer, has attended and advised that the appliances are safe to use.
